Background

The quantum dot chiral sensing system has a fast response speed. The chiral quantum dot can identify the Ile enantiomer within 5 minutes, and the enantiomeric selectivity (IL/ID) can reach 2.2. L-Ile has a good linear relationship in the concentration range of 0 ~ 30 mM, and the LOD is 0.29 mM. The fluorescence intensity also increases linearly with the increase in the percentage of enantiomers of L-Ile in the mixture. Therefore, this method can not only realize the quantitative detection of L-Ile, but also determine the percentage of enantiomers in the racemate. Through molecular modeling, the chiral recognition mechanism can be explained by the difference in binding energy and interaction type between D-Ile and L-Ile and CCQDs. This method was applied to the detection of L-Ile in actual samples of functional beverages, and the detection results were consistent with the results of high performance liquid chromatography.
