Heavy Metal Ion Detection Services

As a professional quantum dot supply platform, Alfa Chemistry not only provides quantum dots, but also has been conducting quantum dot research and expanding the application field of quantum dots. Quantum dots also play an important role in the analysis and detection of heavy metal ions. Our professional team includes undergraduates, masters and doctors to bring you comprehensive and scientific services.

Background

Poisoning caused by eating foods containing heavy metal ions is a slow process. At present, the detection methods for heavy metal ions mainly include chromatography, mass spectrometry, and colorimetry. Achieve rapid detection. Because the fluorescent probe of carbon quantum dot has good selectivity, simple operation can quickly detect heavy metal ions.

Services

The technical experts of Alfa Chemistry provide a full set of customized services from carbon quantum dot products, quantum dots for Heavy metal ion detection. For details, please consult our customer service staff.

According to customer needs, Alfa Chemistry can provide you with:

  • Detection of Heavy Metal Ion Detection

Detection content

  • Hg2+ detection

Hg2+ has neurotoxicity. It binds to the sulfhydryl groups of proteins to inhibit enzyme activity and hinder cell metabolism. A nitrogen-doped CQDs (N-CQDs) was synthesized using a hydrothermal method, and the emission peak of rhodamine (RhB) was used as a reference to construct a carbon quantum dot-rhodamine-mercury ion (CQDs-RhB Hg2+) fluorescence ratio sensor. High-sensitivity detection of Hg2+ has been achieved, and the actual test has been carried out in tap water samples. The ratiometric fluorescence detection method records two fluorescence signals at two different wavelengths at the same time, so as to solve the interference of many factors that are not related to the analyte, such as the probe microenvironment, the local concentration of the probe, and photobleaching that are often encountered in optical detection. Reduce the influence of environmental factors, improve the sensitivity of fluorescence analysis and the stability of the entire system.

  • Cu2+ detection

Cu2+ can regulate hemoglobin levels, neuronal function, mitochondrial respiration and cell metabolism. However, long-term exposure to high concentrations of copper ions can affect the function of the kidneys and liver, which can lead to brain diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Based on the fluorescence quenching principle of CQDs on Cu2+, CQDs fluorescent probes can achieve rapid response to Cu2+, and are suitable for rapid detection or on-site detection.

  • Fe3+ detection

Fe3+ exists in various tissues, especially the liver, spleen, and lungs. The imbalance of Fe3+ content can lead to anemia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, mental decline, hemochromatosis, diabetes, cancer and other diseases. There are many eCOOH and eOH groups on the surface of CQDs. Fe3+ is coordinated by non-radiative electron transfer with the hydroxyl groups on the surface of CQDs, which leads to fluorescence quenching of CQDs.
