This technique can be successfully applied to a catalytic platform using quantum dots as photocatalysts. The introduced UCN can not only improve the stability of CsPbBr3 quantum dots by passivating the surface ligand of CsPbBr3 quantum dots, but also promote the charge transfer between the two materials by band matching. Therefore, the prepared CsPbBr3/UCN heterostructure has superior photocatalytic performance than CsPbBr3 quantum dots and UCN alone, which provides an effective strategy for the design of CsPbBr3-based heterostructures with high stability and photocatalytic activity.
