Alfa Chemistry offers carboxy-terminated cadmium-based quantum dots in the wavelength range of 450-645 nm and amine-terminated cadmium-based quantum dots in the wavelength range of 450-665 nm, now available in an easy-to-use kit that allows researchers to combine their own choice of proteins and ligands.

Our products include the following:

1. The carboxy-terminated cadmium-based quantum dot kit contains carboxy-quantum dots and reagents sufficient for four (4) conjugation reactions. Briefly, quantum dots are activated with carbodiimide and N-hydroxysuccinimide and then bound to amino groups on target proteins/ligands such as bovine serum albumin and immunoglobulins. The kit contains 1mL of quantum dots, sufficient reagents and components to perform coupling reactions on quantum dots.

2. The amine-terminated cadmium group quantum dot kit is used to specifically bind quantum dots to antibodies, proteins, peptides or other biomolecules with primary amine, carboxyl or thiol groups with low non-specific binding. It contains amine quantum dots and reagents sufficient to perform four (4) conjugation reactions. You can quickly screen out antibodies or develop new in vitro reagents without coupling experience, thus accelerating the development process of your project.
