Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) Services

Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) is used to project an accelerated and concentrated Electron beam onto a very thin sample. The electrons collide with atoms in the sample and change direction, resulting in solid Angle scattering. The size of the scattering Angle and the density of the sample. The thickness is dependent, so that different light and dark images can be formed, which will be magnified and focused and displayed on imaging devices such as fluorescent screen film and photosensitive coupling components.

Services

Alfa Chemistry provides professional TEM testing services. Our professional and reliable team is able to provide customers with scientific and standardized test reports. Our company provides the following services:

  • Invoices, Lists and Contracts
  • Testing Reports

Project information

Alfa Chemistry provides customers with professional instrument testing. When you choose our company to conduct TEM testing on your quantum dot products, please browse our website first and contact our staff for communication before placing your order.

  • Powder and liquid can be detected, can't directly take the membrane or block sample, need to prepare other samples (such as ion dilution, embedding, slice FIB, etc.).
  • The thickness of the sample should not exceed 100nm, and if the particles are slightly larger, they can be appropriately treated to less than 100nm.
  • Generally, microgate copper mesh is selected for sample preparation. If the particle diameter is less than 10nm, ultra-thin carbon film is used for sample preparation. If the sample contains Cu, EDS spectroscopy and mapping are required to select nickel or molybdenum mesh.
  • Please inform Alfa Chemistry staff in advance if samples are to be stored under special conditions.

Through transmission electron microscopy, you can observe the morphology of quantum dots and calculate the size of quantum dots.

Sample composition requirements

  • Safety: non-toxic and non-radioactive
  • Organic material: Organic matter is unstable under high pressure, which is easy to be scattered during the shooting process. Samples will be contaminated to the instrument when being scattered. If you need to take photos, please make sure to confirm with the staff.

Sample preparation required

There are two types of sample tests. One is for the customer to make the sample, and the other is to send the sample directly to us, and our experimenter will process the sample and then test it.

  • If the customer makes a good sample, it is necessary to pay attention to:
Please provide test requirements, including ruler, shooting position, morphology, etc., so that the test purpose can be clearly expressed and reflected to our docking personnel.
  • If the customer does not make a good sample, it is necessary to pay attention to:
Please fill in the sample preparation requirements (dispersant, ultrasonic time, copper network, etc.), test requirements (ruler, shooting position, morphology, etc.) and test purpose, etc., according to the form provided by us, and then hand over to the connection personnel.

Advantages of our services

  • One-stop test platform, from sample preparation to test data and analysis, we include every part.
  • Reliable scientific research personnel ensure the standardization of experimental practice.
  • Short time, high efficiency.
  • The most competitive price.
