About Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer

The spectrophotometer is mainly composed of light source, monochromator, sample cell, detector and signal processor. The schematic diagram of its internal structure is shown in the figure below. The light source is used to provide continuous and stable photons. The monochromator is used to decompose the composite light emitted by the light source and obtain the required monochromatic light. The detector detects the intensity of the transmitted light by a photoelectric conversion element and converts it into an electrical signal.
