About Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer
The spectrophotometer is mainly composed of light source, monochromator, sample cell, detector and signal processor. The schematic diagram of its internal structure is shown in the figure below. The light source is used to provide continuous and stable photons. The monochromator is used to decompose the composite light emitted by the light source and obtain the required monochromatic light. The detector detects the intensity of the transmitted light by a photoelectric conversion element and converts it into an electrical signal.
Ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer has the advantages of high sensitivity, low cost, simple operation and fast analysis speed. It is often used for qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of optical characteristics of materials.

The required size of block or film samples>2*2cm, which can test absorption, reflection and transmission.
- Liquid Samples
The liquid sample volume is 5 ml or more, the absorbance range is 3Abs, the concentration range is generally: 10 ppb-1000 ppm, and the test range is 200-800 nm. Absorption and transmission can be measured.
