Perovskite Quantum Dots Supplier - Alfa Chemistry

Vitamin Drug Analysis

Vitamin Drug Analysis

As a professional quantum dot supply platform, Alfa Chemistry not only provides quantum dots, but also has been conducting quantum dot research and expanding the application field of quantum dots. Quantum dots also play an important role in the analysis of vitamin content. Our professional team includes undergraduate, master and doctoral students. Can bring you a comprehensive, scientific service.

Vitamins cannot be synthesized directly in the human body, nor can they be converted into each other, but can only be obtained from food. Therefore, it is very important to develop highly selective, reliable and sensitive methods to detect vitamins in food and drug samples. As some specific groups in vitamins interact with groups on the surface of CDQs, charge transfer of CDQs occurs and dynamic quenching is achieved. The fluorescence quenching intensity of quantum dots has a certain relationship with the concentration of vitamins, so the determination of sample content is completed.

The technical experts of Alfa Chemistry provide a full set of customized services from carbon quantum dot products, quantum dots for drug analysis and biological small molecule detection. For details, please consult our customer service staff.

According to customer needs, Alfa Chemistry can provide you with:

  • Detection of Vitamin Content

  • Riboflavin (vitamin B2) Detection

Riboflavin, one of the water-soluble vitamins, is also necessary for a variety of cellular processes. Lack of this vitamin can cause damage to the skin and mucous membranes, strong photophobia, fatigue, slow growth, digestive problems, cheilitis, and anemia. The presence of carbonyl and amino groups in riboflavin has a strong attraction to the hydroxyl and carboxyl groups on the surface of CQDs, which makes CQDs and riboflavin form hydrogen bonds and shorten the spatial distance. Therefore, CQDs are used as donors and riboflavin is used as acceptors. It realizes the high-efficiency fluorescence resonance energy transfer (Fluorescence resonance energy transfer, FRET) between CQDs and riboflavin.

  • Folic acid (vitamin B9) Detection

Folic acid, a water-soluble vitamin, is especially important for pregnant women. Sufficient folic acid intake during pregnancy can prevent fetal congenital neural tube defects. The modified AA-CDs can interact with FA through electrostatic interaction, and an electron transfer process occurs between the two, which leads to dynamic quenching of the fluorescence of AA-CDs.

  • Vitamin B12 (VB12) Detection

Vitamin B12 (VB12) is the only vitamin containing metal (cobalt). It is synthesized by microorganisms and can be used to treat megaloblastic anemia, subacute combined degenerative neuropathy, relieve eye fatigue, and treat radiation-induced skin damage. Since vitamin B12 may act as an electron acceptor to interact with excited CQDs, the CQDs will undergo charge transfer to achieve dynamic quenching, and the fluorescence quenching intensity of CQDs ΔF has a good linear relationship with the concentration of VB12, which can be used in samples Determination of VB12 content.
